I represent owners of rent-stabilized and other multifamily buildings in DHCR proceedings, rent stabilization compliance, and Housing Court. I own and manage rental property myself, and I represent owners only.

Since the 2019 HSTPA, a tenant's overcharge claim can reach six years back, including rent collected by owners before you. Small owners carry the same exposure as large ones, with less paper to defend it.

How an engagement works

1. Initial call. We talk through the building and what prompted the call. No charge, no commitment.
2. Flat-fee review. I review the registration history, leases, and rent records and deliver a written memo on what is exposed and what to fix first.
3. Scoped work. Corrected filings, DHCR responses, or litigation, each quoted as a flat fee before it starts.
